Objective

Students
- understand the basics of the medical treatment of the most common mental health disorders and psychiatric diseases and know how to apply the information in nursing
- know how to utilise the experimental knowledge of the patient and their immediate circle in guidance and the immediate network in supporting daily coping
- know how to encounter and maintain treatment-based interaction in a resource-based manner that promotes the mental health of a customer/patient with mental health and substance abuse problems and prevents disruptions
- know how to use methods that support and promote resources and justify their actions with evidence-based knowledge and treatment recommendations
- know how to implement service coordination and understand the impact and cost-effectiveness of basic services
- know how to apply current social services and healthcare programmes
- know how to act to promote customer, patient and occupational safety
