Objective

Students
- know how to utilise existing information regarding the population’s health challenges on the level of the individual and community
- know how to find customers, families and communities in need of special support and at risk of marginalisation in collaboration with other service producers
- know how to assess the risks factors that increase the need for services related to health, living conditions and life situation and instruct the use of existing services
- understand the impacts of diversity, multiculturality, life history and life circumstances on the population’s health, ability to function and marginalisation
- know how to act in partnership with experimental experts and volunteer actors
- know how to act as the customer’s partner in the activities promoting health and wellbeing planned by the customer
- know how to select and use models and working methods that increase and impact the customer’s inclusion on the level of the individual, group and community
- know how to use, assess and justify the use of various creative methods and the customer’s resources in the promotion of health and wellbeing
- know how to use the technological tools and applications used in health promotion in an ethical and customer-oriented manner
- know how to transform their work experience into expertise

Qualifications

Terveysalan koulutuksessa 2. lukukauden harjoitteluun ja sen jälkeisiin harjoitteluihin osallistuminen edellyttää, että opiskelija on suorittanut Turvallinen lääkehoito ja -laskenta (LÄÄ01) -opintojakson hyväksytysti ja ennen seuraavia harjoitteluja niihin sisällöllisesti liittyvät lääkehoidon ja lääkelaskut hyväksytysti.
