Content scheduling
Opintojakso jakautuu lukukauden kaikille lähiopetusviikolle sekä niiden ympärille sijoittuville etäopiskeluviikoille. Opintojakson ydinsisällöt käsitellään lähiopetusviikkojen luennoilla ja yhteisissä harjoituksissa. Etäopiskeluviikoilla opiskelija syventyy opintojakson sisältöihin oppimistehtävien, kirjallisuuden ja luentotallenteiden avulla.
Objective
Students will be able to
- identify business entity types and practices, functions and legislation relating to commercial activity
- identify networks of interpreting service providers, employers and employees
- recognise the role of workplace wellbeing, professional supervision and key workplace skills relevant to the field
- describe typical workplace communication situations and their profession and skills
- identify the impacts of digitalisation on the future professional environment

Teaching methods
Opintojakso koostuu luentomuotoisesta kontaktiopetuksesta ja harjoituksista lähiopetusviikoilla sekä itsenäisestä työskentelystä etäviikoilla monikampustoteutuksen mukaisesti: https://www.diak.fi/opiskelu/opiskelijan-polku/opintojen-suorittaminen/opiskelumuodot/
Lähiopetusviikoilla olevassa kontaktiopetuksessa on 100 % läsnäolovaatimus
Opintojaksolla tehdään kirjallisia ja suullisia tehtäviä yksin ja pienryhmässä.
Student workload
Opintojakso on 5 opintopistettä eli noin 130 tuntia opiskelijan työtä.
Lähiviikkojen kontaktiopetuksen ja oppimistehtävien lisäksi opiskelija työskentelee etäjaksoilla itsenäisesti ja ryhmissä verkkopohjaista oppimisalustaa hyödyntäen.
