Teaching methods

Contact teaching: lectures, hackathon, and seminars.
- Written assignments during contact teaching and distance learning days.
- The key content of PMI is to plan, implement and evaluate a small scale project in teams of students. The small scale projects will be conducted in collaboration with a working life partner or a Diak's project.
- The main written assignments are a project plan and a project report.
- Seminar presentations of the project's results in the end of the course.
- The project can be part of the thesis work if it is agreed on in advance with the teachers.

Employer connections

The study module will be conducted in close collaboration with working life organisations.

Exam schedules

Students will write a project proposal in collaboration with a working life partner. The process will take place as follows:

The proposal will be planned and presented approximately one month after the start of the course. Representatives from the working life partner will participate in the seminar.

The planned project will be implemented, monitored, and evaluated in cooperation with the working life partner.

At the end of the project, students and their working life partners will present the project results in a poster seminar.
