- compare the social service sectors of the countries of their working languages
- identify the interpreting situations of the social services sector and understand the related challenges

Materials
Opiskelumateriaalina hyödynnetään ajantasaista internet-materiaalia mm. Kelan, STM:n jne. sivustoilta.
Teaching methods
Opintojaksolla on luentoja suomen sosiaaliturvajärjestelmästä yleisesti ja erityisesti lastensuojelusta palveluna. Luentoihin sisältyy myös erilaisia harjoitteita ja lisäksi järjestetään yksi työpajapäivä. Oppimistehtävä tehdään ryhmissä. Oppimistehtävä liittyy sosiaaliturvaan elämän eri tilanteissa. Oppimistehtävässä on kirjallinen osuus ja seminaariesitys.
