Objective
Students will be able to
- identify the objectives of native language instruction and teaching and its role in strengthening students’ identity and social integration
- identify the tasks and work environments of native language teachers
- describe language development and the principles of developmental instruction and support
- demonstrate knowledge of the challenges relating to bilingualism in childhood and the ability to support bilingualism

- Luennot
- Lukupiiritehtävän tekeminen ja lukupiiri
- Materiaaliin tutustuminen ja portfoliotehtävä, jonka pohjalta lyhyt seminaariesitys.
