Opintojakso muodostaa yhdessä Hevosjalostus (4 op) ja Hevosen ravinnontarve ja ruokinta (7 op) opintojaksojen kanssa 15 op kokonaisuuden Hyvinvoiva hevonen.
Objective
You can: - explain the key definitions of equine welfare - describe the horse's natural behavioural needs and their importance for the horse's welfare - identify behavioural problems in horses and understand their possible causes - observe the horse's welfare and identify how welfare indicators are expressed in practice - collect data on horse welfare and assess the relevance of the measurement results for horse welfare and make recommendations and development measures
