Objective
This course is part of the Nursing, Profiling Competence module o Deeper evidence-based competence in the evaluation of the need for palliative patient care, in special issues of customer-oriented symptom treatment and in psychosocial support for families and patients o Mastery of dose calculations and familiarity with the key medicine groups used in palliative care and ability to implement and assess the medically assisted treatment and pain management of a patient o Understanding of the impacts of the social and healthcare reform on the service processes of palliative care and rehabilitation, and the operating principles required by sustainable development o Can analyse the special features of well-being at work and the multiprofessional work community in palliative care

Teaching methods
Opintojakso toteutuu e-toteutuksena Oppimisympäristönä Learn Aloitusinfo 2h - Zoom Työelämäyhteistyö Pienryhmätapaamiset Itsenäinen työskentely Asiantuntijaluennot . Opinnoissa opiskelijalta edellytetään omaa kannettavaa tietokonetta (BYOD eli Bring your own device). Edeltävyys ehdot opintojaksolle osallistumiseen: suorittanut moduulit 1-3 sekä opintojaksot sisätautipotilaan hoitotyö 2 ja gerontologínen hoitotyö

Student workload
