Objective
German in the Media course suits you if you aim to deepen your German skills and especially the understanding of texts in your own study field. After this course you will be familiar with the German-language press and articles in your field. You will expand and deepen your vocabulary in your study field. You will also practise writing in German on the basis of an article.
Content
Working on independent articles (6) on your field of study: - Word lists - Summary(s) in Finnish - Essay in German - End discussion with the teacher on the assignments in either German/Finnish
Location and time
Independent study online, in Moodle and Zoom
Teaching methods
You will be familiar with the German-language press and magazines in your own field. You will deepen your knowledge and extend vocabulary of your own field of study. Learning takes place independently online. Final discussion (1h) with the teacher in August at a mutually agreed time.
