Objective
Future Foresight examines future developments systematically through a combination of facts and imagination. Foresight is a key approach to visionary management and development, which is why all successful organisations and societies strive to anticipate the future. During the course, the student is introduced to foresight methods in a practical manner. The student examines the factors affecting the future, and outlines probable, surprising, and desirable futures, as well as how they can influence the realisation of the most desirable futures.
After completing the course, the student will
- understand the concepts, objectives, and nature of future foresight.
- understand different futures and the factors that affect them.
- be able to perceive the pressures for change affecting their work community, vocational field, and society as a whole, and be able to react to them
- be familiar with future foresight methods and be able to apply one of these methods in practice.

- Foresight methods
