Content scheduling

This course an asynchronous virtual course and learning is based on independent learning during 8 week period.

Objective

Different approaches to learning and learning culture in organisation, as well as environment, processes and practices that enhance learning. Students are encouraged to reflect and develop practices that promote learning in their own organisations.

Methods of completion

1. Contact lessons 24 h and independent learning 111 h 2. Virtual course and independent learning 135 h 3. RPL and benefiting RPL during the course is to be agreed with responsible lecturers If students have acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, they can show their competence via a demonstration. The demonstration must be agreed with the course teacher. Materials

Learning materials will be informed at the beginning of the course on Moodle.

Teaching methods

Independent virtual learning altogether 135 h (no contact lessons, only independent learning) This course an asynchronous virtual course and learning is based on independent learning during 8 week period. RPL and benefiting RPL during the course is to be agreed with the responsible lecturer (Meri Vehkaperä). If students have acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, they can show their competence via a demonstration and thus progress faster through their studies. Exams will be taken during 8 week period.

Student workload

Instructions for studying as well as exams and assignments will be given at the beginning of the course (18.8.2025). Learning is based on individual and independent learning. Assessment will be based on a mind map, two short exams and a development assignment.

Qualifications

No prerequisites. This course unit is part of the master's degree's curriculum. Completion of the course requires master's study entitlement.
