The course is designed to be completed in three parts. The schedule can be adapted to suit individual circumstances.

Objective

The study unit provides a solid foundation for the responsible use of artificial intelligence. Upon completing the study unit, the student will be able to:
• identify and describe the key impacts, risks, and responsibility-related issues associated with the use of artificial intelligence
• assess the reliability and appropriateness of content produced by artificial intelligence using given criteria
• justify their own choices and ways of working from the perspective of the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

The competence requirements of the study unit correspond to basic-level competence in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Culture’s framework for artificial intelligence competence (MEC, https://okm.fi/tekoaly-ja-osaamine n).
