Objective
On completion of the course, the student knows how a company can use quantitative research in order to develop its operations, and is able to design and implement a quantitative research, interpret the research results, and evaluate the reliability of the research.
Content
This is a Moodle online course, supported by own videos, which students can complete relatively independently (and can join with various professional backgrounds). The pedagogy is based on the flipped classroom method where all study materials and tasks are available in the learning environment. The teacher will be available online several times during the course for discussion and students’ questions. • Quantitative research process • Basic concepts of quantitative research • Selecting samples • Collecting data using questionnaires • Preparation of the research data • Data analysis: descriptive and inferential statistics • Statistical testing
