Objective

• The student understands the aims and purpose of public procurement legislation. • The student is able to make use of public procurement legislation. • The student is able to argue and persuade an audience (a court, the market, their own organisation). • The student is able to apply the key principles of public procurement (non-discrimination, transparency, equal treatment, proportionality) in argumentation. • The student is able to systematise procurement rules in relation to other legislation connected with public procurement. • The student is able to make use of legal remedies in public procurement. • The student is familiar with means of combating the grey economy in public procurement. • The student is familiar with the significance of procurement contracts, the value of contractual terms as instruments of influence, and the fundamentals of contract management.
