Opiskelija tietää ihmiselle sieni-infektioita aiheuttavia sieniryhmiä sekä ymmärtää sienten merkityksen sieni-infektiotautien aiheuttajina. Opiskelija tietää yleisempien sieni-infektioiden taudinkuvan ja niiden hoidon.

Sienet yleisesti, kliinisesti merkittävien sienten jaottelu, sieniryhmät: hiivat, rihmasienet ja homeet. Yleisempien sieni-infektioiden taudinkuva ja hoito.
