This course focuses on building practical skills for creating responsive, accessible, and visually appealing websites.

The Responsive Web Design course includes the following features:

Cisco Networking Academy

HTML Essentials
6 modules covering HTML structure, semantics, forms, tables, multimedia, and accessibility
Interactive lessons and hands-on labs
Module tests
Final Test
CSS Essentials
9 modules covering styling, layout, responsiveness, animations, frameworks, preprocessors, and accessibility
Interactive lessons and hands-on labs

Metropolia Moodle

15 module quizzes (6 from HTML Essentials and 9 from CSS Essentials)

Location and time

The course is based on two Cisco Networking Academy courses:

- HTML Essentials (Metropolia UAS, part 1 for Responsive Web Design 5 ects course)
- CSS Essentials (Metropolia UAS, part 2 for Responsive Web Design 5 ects course)

The Responsive Web Design (5 ECTS) course is completed by studying the learning materials in the Cisco Networking Academy environment and completing assessments on Metropolia’s Moodle platform.

Teaching methods

When taking the course, you will:

- Study each module in the Cisco Networking Academy environment
- Complete the corresponding Module Quiz in Metropolia Moodle
- Complete required Practice Exercises in Moodle
- After all modules are completed, take the Final Test in Moodle

To create an account for the Cisco Networking Academy courses, follow the steps described in the lesson below. Once you've successfully created your account, you will have access to the Cisco Networking Academy and can enroll in the HTML Essentials (Metropolia UAS, part 1 for Responsive Web Design 5 ects) and CSS Essentials (Metropolia UAS, part 2 for Responsive Web Design 5 ects) courses. Please note that the specific steps and user interface may vary depending on the current version of the Cisco Networking Academy website.
