KÄYTTÄJÄTUNNUKSET
Saat käyttäjätunnuksia koskevan sähköpostiviestin IT-käyttäjähallinnosta noin viikkoa ennen opintojen alkua. Aktivointi tapahtuu henkilökohtaisilla verkkopankkitunnuksilla tai mobiilivarmenteella. Seuraa myös sähköpostisi roskapostikansiota. Viesti voi mennä roskapostiin.

OPISKELU
Opiskelu edellyttää aktiivista osallistumista. Yksi opintopiste vastaa noin 27 tuntia opiskelijan työtä. Opintojen suoritusvaatimukset ovat avoimen AMKin opiskelijoille samat kuin tutkinto-opiskelijoille.
Opiskelijalla tulee olla oma (kannettava) tietokone.

Course materials are located in Moodle. 


Teaching methods

The course is studied online in the Moodle learning environment. It can be completed independently at your own pace during the implementation period 1 August 2026 – 31 October 2026.

The course begins on 1 August 2026 and teacher-led instruction ends on 8 September 2026.

Active participation in the online sessions is recommended.

Studies include online lectures, themed assignments, speaking and writing exercises, vocabulary thrills, listening comprehension, text comprehension, peer feedback, and reflection.

The course uses Moodle and Zoom.

Course performances will be assessed within one month after the end of the course.

The course follows the ARENE traffic light model. The use of AI is allowed in the course but must be disclosed (yellow).

All assignments must be submitted/completed by 31 Oct 2026.

The course grade is based on completed assignments.

Employer connections

The course does not include an internship or collaboration with working life.

Exam schedules

The course includes a Moodle exam, and completing the learning assignments is mandatory in order to receive a grade. Course performances will be assessed within one month after the end of the course. To receive an assessment in the autumn semester 2026, all assignments must be successfully completed no later than 31 October.

Completion alternatives

The course is elective, so there is no alternative completion method available.

Student workload

The student completes mainly independent work, amounting to 135 hours. This consists of online lectures, practice assignments, independent study and preparation, Moodle tasks, and giving feedback. The workload is divided on average as follows:

Scheduled online workshops: 25 hours

Online small-group work: 20 hours

Independent work on learning assignments: 55 hours

Assessed tasks and final assessment: 35 h (preparation of project work, reporting, presentation/exams)
