Students
• know how to offer purposeful services to customers and ensure the continuity of the customer’s services
• know how to seek out and support customers, families and communities in need of special support and at risk of marginalisation in collaboration with other service producers
• know how to develop operating models and work methods that increase and impact the inclusion of individual and community customers
• know how to promote the realisation of human rights, inclusion and equality in various communities and the society
• know how to act in an operating environment untypical to a public health nurse in a creative and ethically justified manner

Teaching methods
Harjoittelu toimintaympäristössä, jossa asiakkaina on erityisen tuen tarpeissa ja syrjäytymisvaarassa olevia. Nimettynä ohjaajana on oltava th tai sh.
Harjoittelun ohjauksen työkaluna käytetään Workseed-järjestelmää.

Erikoissairaanhoidosta hyväksytään vain mielenterveys- ja päihdetyö. Terveydenhoitajatyön toimintaympäristöstä vain terveysasema, mutta HAR10 tavoitteiden tulee täyttyä ja harjoittelun aikana tehtävä vierailuja matalan kynnyksen paikoissa.
Completion alternatives
AHOT 4/2021: Voidaan ahotoida vain, jos opiskelijalla on aikaisempi terveydenhoitajan tutkinto tai vastaavilla terveydenhoitajan tutkintoon johtavilla korkeakouluopinnoilla.

Harjoittelussa tehtävä tuntimäärä on 106 tuntia.
Harjoittelutunteihin (2h) sisältyy:
- CV laadinta ja harjoittelupaikan hankinta
- Tavoitteiden laadinta
- Reflektio
- Ohjauskeskustelu lehtorin ja harjoittelun ohjaajan kanssa
- Ammatillisen kasvun kehittymisen kriittisen reflektion laadinta
Harjoittelupaikassa suoritettava tuntimäärä on 100 tuntia.
Ammatillisen kasvun reflektointi liitetään myöhemmin viimeisen lukukauden Asiantuntijuus ja johtaminen terveydenhoitajatyössä -opintojaksoon.
