Students
• analyse the theological and pedagogical basis of youth work and create their own theology of youth work
• analyse the theological basis of an office in education as part of their professional identity
• are familiar with the objectives, organisation and methods of education activities at church
• are familiar with the operating environments of societal youth work and know how to act as an expert of youth work and Christian education in multidisciplinary networks
• identify factors in the society and church that impact the wellbeing of children, young people and families and want to affect them to realise social justice
• identify ethical questions related to working with children and young people and know how to act in an ethically responsible manner

• educational activities of the church and Christian organisations
• the expertise of a coordinator for youth work and related competence needs in parishes and multidisciplinary networks
