Students will be able to
- identify the objectives of native language instruction and teaching and its role in strengthening students’ identity and social integration
- identify the tasks and work environments of native language teachers
- describe language development and the principles of developmental instruction and support
- demonstrate knowledge of the challenges relating to bilingualism in childhood and the ability to support bilingualism

Opintojakso koostuu luentomuotoisesta kontaktiopetuksesta ja harjoituksista lähiopetusviikoilla sekä itsenäisestä työskentelystä etäviikoilla monikampustoteutuksen mukaisesti: https://www.diak.fi/opiskelu/opiskelijan-polku/opintojen-suorittaminen/opiskelumuodot/
Lähiopetusviikoilla olevassa kontaktiopetuksessa on 100 %:n läsnäolovaatimus.

Student workload
