Objective

Students will be able to
- write in Finnish at proficiency level B2, depending on their entry level
- produce text on topics relating to study and work
- master the structures of the Finnish language
- understand the importance of reading to good writing
- utilise feedback to develop their writing skills.

Content

- writing various types of text, e.g. formal messages, summaries (from interviews, speech, text), source-based writing
- revision of grammar
- demanding reading comprehension exercises

Location and time

Verkkototeutus, jossa on etäopetusta 20.5.–17.6.2024 (kaksi kertaa viikossa). Opiskelija tekee kaksi tehtävää vielä sen jälkeen, kun opetus on loppunut.

Prerequisites: The minimum entry level for this course is B1.2

Student workload

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus: 5 op (5 x 27 = 135 tuntia). Kontaktiopetusta on vähän ja kurssi suoritetaan suurimmaksi osaksi tekemällä kirjallisia tehtäviä. Opetusta on 20.5.–17.6.2024, ja sinä aikana tehdään suurin osa tehtävistä. Opiskelija tekee lisäksi kaksi tehtävää vielä sen jälkeen, kun itse opetus on loppunut.
