Students will be able to
- describe the key principles, structures and processes of the Finnish justice system
- describe the functions and tasks of Finnish police, customs and border authorities and their role in the justice system
- categorise and compare the actors, structures and processes of the sector in the countries of their working languages
- use key concepts of the police and justice sector and describe the criminal justice, civil justice and petitionary matters and related concepts
- use relevant legal sources and search for information
- identify the interpreting situations of the police and justice sector and understand the related challenges

Teaching methods
Opetusta lähiopetuksena kampuksella ja etäopetuksen Zoomin välityksellä.
Opetus koostuu lehtorin luennoista, ulkopuolisten asiantuntijoiden esityksistä sekä yhteisestä keskustelusta ja pohdinnasta.
Student workload
