Content scheduling
Opintojakso jakautuu viidelle lähiopetusviikolle sekä niiden ympärille sijoittuville etäopiskeluviikoille. Opintojakson ydinsisällöt käsitellään lähiopetusviikkojen luennoilla ja yhteisissä harjoituksissa. Etäopiskeluviikoilla opiskelija syventyy opintojakson sisältöihin oppimistehtävien, kirjallisuuden ja harjoitustallenteiden avulla.
Objective
Students will be able to
- apply methods of short consecutive interpreting in dialogue interpreting situations
- apply consecutive interpreting methods and note-taking technique
- use interpreting skills and field-specific terminology in different settings of the social services sector
- identify the roles of social services professionals and work as an interpreter in teams of experts
- analyse their interpreting performance and give constructive feedback to peers

Opintojakso on 5 opintopistettä eli noin 130 tuntia opiskelijan työtä.
Lähiviikkojen kontaktiopetuksen ja oppimistehtävien lisäksi opiskelija työskentelee etäjaksoilla itsenäisesti ja ryhmissä verkkopohjaista oppimisalustaa hyödyntäen.
Qualifications
Edeltävät TUV-opintojaksot oltava suoritettu, ellei opinto-ohjaajan kanssa ole erikseen muuta sovittu.
