Opintojakso jakautuu viidelle lähiopetusviikolle sekä niiden ympärille sijoittuville etäopiskeluviikoille. Opintojakson ydinsisällöt käsitellään lähiopetusviikkojen luennoilla ja yhteisissä harjoituksissa. Etäopiskeluviikoilla opiskelija syventyy opintojakson sisältöihin oppimistehtävien, kirjallisuuden ja harjoitustallenteiden avulla.

Objective

Students will be able to
- fluently use consecutive interpreting methods and note-taking technique
- use sight interpreting (prima vista) at the basic level
- use remote interpreting methods and digital solutions
- identify the roles of healthcare professionals and work in teams of experts
- identify and confidently work in situations specific to the healthcare sector, and use interpreting skills and field-specific vocabulary in various healthcare settings
- analyse their interpreting performance and give constructive feedback to peers
