Objective

Competency aims:
The aim of the course is that the student
• Develops his/her ability to identify a relevant design for his/her thesis work.
• To identify the type of data and data collection methods can be used for finding the answer to the problem

Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to
• Choose suitable design for the thesis work
• Identify suitable sample
• Choose suitable data collection method
• Choose suitable analysis method
• Reflect ethical issues of the work

Course contents:
• Group supervision
• Writing and presenting a thesis plan
• Participation in thesis plan seminars
• Participating in at least 4 thesis presentations

RPL 3cr if a student has thesis in their second higher education degree programme and the thesis was done no more than 10 years ago.

To do:
- min 5 articles in the literature review
- present the manuscript in the seminar
- not acting as an opponent required
- one individual meeting with the supervisors
- only 1 participation in the seminar required
