Objective

Students will be able to
- apply methods of short consecutive interpreting in dialogue interpreting situations
- apply consecutive interpreting methods and note-taking technique
- use interpreting skills and field-specific terminology in different settings of the social services sector
- identify the roles of social services professionals and work as an interpreter in teams of experts
- analyse their interpreting performance and give constructive feedback to peers
