Objective

Students will be able to
- use sign language lexicons and digital sources relating to different fields
- use a range of sources to develop their language skills
- use grammatical features of sign language
- analyse sign language by various methods
- analyse and reflect on their language skills

Content

- sign language lexicons, online dictionaries and other digital sources
- development of language skills
- advanced sign language grammar
- analysis by digital methods
- reflective practice in language skills

Qualifications

Opintojen suorittaminen edellyttää laajaa viittomien sanavarastoa ja vahvaa tulkkauksen perusteiden hallintaa. Lisäksi opiskelijan tulee tuntea viittomakieliset asiakasryhmänä ennen kelpoisuuskokonaisuuden aloittamista.
