Objective

Students will be able to
- draw up activity boards and structures
- use digital communication and time management applications according to clients’ preferences
- use interpreting technologies
- update clients’ communication devices at a basic level
- recognise the needs and opportunities of communication software development

- communication devices and software
- the selection and updating of communication methods
- technological development of communication applications

Qualifications

Opintojen suorittaminen edellyttää laajaa viittomien sanavarastoa ja vahvaa tulkkauksen perusteiden hallintaa. Lisäksi opiskelijan tulee tuntea puhevammaisuuden eri tyypit ja syntymekanismit sekä keskeisimpien eri asiakasryhmien käyttämien kommunikaatiomenetelmien perusteet ennen kelpoisuuskokonaisuuden aloittamista.
