Objective
Students
•	know the various manifestations of disabilities
•	understand disability as part of the diversity of being a human as well as various life paths
•	are familiar with disability work and disability policies and the values and objectives that guide them, such as the promotion of self-determination, accessibility and inclusion
•	are able to assess and analyse their own values, attitudes and views on humanity in relation to disabilities

•	disabilities and their manifestation as part of the life course
•	UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, disability policies, Disability Services Act
•	right of self-determination, accessibility and inclusion
•	forms, values and objectives of disability work
•	personal perceptions and attitudes on disability and professional relationship with it
