Objective
The student knows how ethical principles influence communication practices, with particular attention to empathy, leadership, intercultural understanding, and inclusivity.
The student
-	considers the impact of their words and actions. They pause and reflect on whether their message is honest, fair, and respectful before expressing it.
-	gives others a chance to express themselves without interrupting or judging too quickly.
-	is aware of typical ethical mistakes in communication and is able to avoid them in their own communication practices.
-	acknowledges others’ viewpoints and avoid personal attacks, stereotypes, or dismissiveness.
-	respects privacy and does not share sensitive or personal information without consent.
-	understands that different situations (e.g., work, friendships, public speaking) call for different levels of formality, sensitivity, and discretion.
-	avoids bias or exclusion in their communication practices and aims to include all voices fairly, especially in group or public settings.
