Physiotherapy for Older People (5cr)

Objective

Student can act as a physiotherapy practioner by using European Core Competencies Framework for working with older people (ECCF).

Content

Working with older adults and the ageing population requires broad-based competence. In this course, you will gain an overall understanding of the principles and practices of working with older people.
The European Core Competences Framework (ECCF) for social and health care professionals working with older adults defines the general learning outcomes. In this course, you will develop your own physiotherapeutic competence in line with this framework.

Ensimmäisen ja toisen lukukauden fysioterapia opintojaksot tulee olla hyväksytysti suoritettuna ennen opintojakson alkua.

AHOT menettely
Opiskelija, jolla on sisältöön liittyen aikaisemmin hankittua korkeakoulutasoista osaamista, keskustelee korvaavuudesta tai osasuorituksesta vastuuopettajan kanssa ennen opintojakson alkua. Opintojakson alettua osasuorituksista ei voi enää neuvotella.
