Student can act as a physiotherapy practioner by using European Core Competencies Framework for working with older people (ECCF).
Content
Working with older adults and the ageing population requires broad-based competence. In this course, you will gain an overall understanding of the principles and practices of working with older people.
The European Core Competences Framework (ECCF) for social and health care professionals working with older adults defines the general learning outcomes. In this course, you will develop your own physiotherapeutic competence in line with this framework.

Teaching methods
Verkkototeutus Opintojakso on tarkoitettu fysioterapeuttiopiskelijoille, joilla on suoritettuna vähintään anatomian ja fysiologian, toiminnallisen anatomian, motorisen kehittymisen ja oppimisen sekä toimintakyvyn arvioinnin ja tukemisen opintojaksot. Käytännössä tämä opintojakso soveltuu suoritettavaksi Karelia ammattikorkeakoulun kolmannesta lukukaudesta alkaen.
