Further information

This course will offer a unique opportunity to participate in the Planetary Health Blended Intensive Programme (5 ECTS) organised jointly with the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (FHWS) in Germany and VID Specialized University in Norway.

The inspiring program consists of online teamwork with an intensive week at FHWS in Wurzburg on 24.-28.10.2022. Participation in the intensive week will be supported by Erasmus+ Mobility Grant.

The students will take an interdisciplinary perspective on health management, social services, and social science research. Using the concept and framework of planetary health, the course aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the following concepts; multicultural and global social work, ecosocial and antiracist approaches, cultural change, religion from a social science perspective, migration and climate change.

The course also intends for the students to become better equipped in recognizing issues concerning social, racial, health and climate justice through the phases of research-based learning.

Participation is limited to 15 students.
