Opintojakso alkaa luennoilla ja jatkuu harjoittelulla työelämässä. Harjoittelua ohjataan ohjaustunneilla. Opintojakson aikana tehdään tulkkausharjoituksia digitaalisessa toimintaympäristössä ja simulaatioissa. Opintojakson päättää arvioitava yksilötentti, joka on samalla kirjoitustulkkauksen monologitulkkaustentti kirjoitustulkin pätevyyteen, tavoitteena arvosana 3.

- identify client groups and typical interpreting situations
- identify interpreters’ ethical code of conduct and practices for pair work
- recognise the possibilities of digital work environments
- condense spoken text
- interpret from speech to text
