Objective

Students
• are familiar with the principles and practices of monitoring children’s growth and development and the significance of collaboration with customers and multidisciplinary teams
• know the theoretical justifications and guidance practices of early interaction
• know how to support parenthood
• know how to guide families in promoting a healthy lifestyle
• know how to assess the need for special support, follow-up treatment and child welfare of children and their families
• are familiar with the objectives and operating methods of family-oriented work
• know how to maintain and promote a safe growth community and environment in collaboration with families and various stakeholders
• are familiar with the local service system and services for families with children as part of a family centre or a family service network
• know how to explain the significance of culture in promoting health and wellbeing
