• know how to analyse the history and theology of the Middle Ages and reformation and their meaning in the shaping of Christianity as well as identify their impact in the modern era
• are familiar with the central characteristics of Lutheran theology and know how to analyse diaconal work in the church and education through them
• know the theological basis of church services and know how to hold church services in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland
