Objective

Students
- identify the stages of the interpreting process and the necessary cognitive processes, and apply them at a basic level
- apply basic memorisation techniques
- recognise the role of notetaking in interpreting and know the principles of notetaking
- analyse speech content and structure at a basic level from the perspective of conveying a message
- describe different interpreting situations and methods
