Content scheduling

The course consists of 7 webinars. Learning tasks progress throughout the course. The plan for digital guidance session should be returned two weeks before the last session.

Objective

Aim of the course: The aim of the course is advancing the student’s understanding of factors that need to be accounted for in digital rehabilitation and guidance work as well as their competence in the practical application of these factors. Competencies: Operating in a workplace Ethics Therapeutic relationship and interprofessionality Learning Outcomes: You understand the meaning of the key concepts of digital guidance work in rehabilitation and guidance. You understand the significance of the legislation on digital guidance for your client work. You understand the possibilities offered by different operating environments and working methods of digital guidance in client work in your field. You know how to plan and carry out an interactive guidance situation by adapting digital methods. You understand the perspectives of ethics and accessibility of digital guidance in your work. You understand how you can promote your clients' participation and agency in using digital guidance services.

Content

The core content of the course comprises getting to know and applying in practice the concepts and legislation relevant to digital rehabilitation and guidance work. On this course, students familiarise themselves with different operating environments and methods of digital guidance work and examine their accessibility and ethical aspects as well as their usability in client work in their vocational field. Students plan and practise carrying out an interactive digital guidance situation, taking accessibility and ethics into account.

Location and time

Webinars will be carried out online using the Zoom app. Learning assignments will be done and returned in Moodle digital learning environment.

Teaching methods

During the course you will participate in webinars as an active learner. You will come prepared for the webinars according to the assignment given for each webinar session.

The webinars include short introductions, discussion and group work to broaden and deepen your knowledge of the topic.

You will apply and consolidate what you have learned during the course by developing a digital guidance plan as a group activity and implementing a guidance situation.

At the beginning of the course, you will set yourself learning objectives. During the course, you will write a learning diary and summarize it at the end of the course. The summary will help you to identify how well you have achieved your objectives and how well you have met the objectives set for the course.

Exam schedules

All preparation and learning assignments must be returned by the end of the course at the latest. In the Moodle environment, there are a set of repetition periods up to which coursework will be received.

Completion alternatives

You can implement the guidance situation included in the exercise in your own client situation, as an alternative to the final webinar of the implementation.
