Studying takes place on the Moodle platform. Moodle is divided into six modules.

The student - is able to describe the factors influencing the development and current state of the welfare society - is able to describe the impacts of population ageing as a societal phenomenon - identifies the objectives of national and international ageing policy

Location and time

The studies will be implemented as online studies from 1 October to 30 November 2026.

Student workload

The study unit comprises 2 ECTS credits, which corresponds to approximately 54 hours of student work. It can be completed according to one’s own schedule as independent online studies, regardless of time and place.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Assessment criterion, pass/fail:
Pass = The student has achieved the competence objectives of the study unit. The student can describe factors influencing the welfare state and the impacts of population ageing on society. The student identifies the objectives of ageing policy at national and international levels. The student has completed all tasks for the study unit in accordance with the instructions.

Fail = The student has not achieved the competence objectives of the study unit. The student has not completed, in accordance with the instructions, the tasks required to obtain a pass for the study unit.
