The student

• Identify, explain and act for further trends and their effects on working life in health care setting using digital solutions. (e-health)
• Present various theories related to change in working life and identify his/her own possibilities to impact on well-being at working life in health care setting.
• Plan and implement service design in which the client’s participation is made possible and respected constantly.
• Work multi-professionally and being aware of the development possibilities in service design that are ethically sustainable.
• Plan and evaluate a smaller project in which the team work is at central.

Teaching methods

1. Orientation lecture for all, mandatory participation

If student chosse group work: participating workshops, individual learning, group work, seminar presentation

If student choose individual learning; then mandatory orientation lectures at campus (one day), individual work and learning, recording of seminar presentation and commenting other´s presentation

Completion alternatives

Mandatory participation to orientation day (all students)

A. Individual Leadership assignment to all LEA study module students

B. Two possibilities to complete a Service design process- assignment

Participation at campus to all workshops/4, incl orientation), Service design process- assignment as a group work. You are led through the learning process in workshops by lecturers.

Orientation as a lecture in the beginning of every workshop by lecturers

Students choosing group work divide the workload and the steps within the groups.

Individual learning process. You participate in the orientation day at campus. You have two supervisions at Zoom which are voluntary.

No recorded lectures, student familiarizes himself/herself with the lecture materials independently

you work with Leadership-assignment and Service design process - assignment individually. All steps of SD process assignment are published after seminars. Participation in the seminars is voluntary.

You present your SD-process assignment as a recorded video and submit it to a discussion forum. Mandatory commenting to other´s presentations.

Students choosing the individual process complete all the steps in SD process by themselves

Criteria for the evaluation of essay-type learning assignments:

You combine well source-based information, personal reflection and observations
The main concepts are opened well in theoretic part
Use of the references and referencing is done correctly
Process is defined very well and in team work the voice of every participant can be read
All steps of the process are represented as text or attached pictures or scanned if eg. flowchart drawn in paper.
