Objective

After completing the course, the student will be able to

- lead staff, teams, work communities and organisations to promote good human resources
policy, taking into account the societal and organisational changes in work
- interact to build innovative management practices and to create opportunities, and proactively
contribute to and develop future working environments
- promote meaningful work and take into account the perspectives of employee motivation
in change situations
- promote diversity in the work community and strengthen the social sustainability of organisations
- reform the working methods of work communities by bringing together different perspectives through dialogue and discussion and build collaborative action and community-driven agency with the help of inclusive interaction.

Content

- Principles of sound personnel policy and interaction in the human resources management within the work community, and in reinforcing the ethical sustainability of the organisation
- Evolving management practices based on multi-agency collaboration and the management of the development of work environments amidst transformation of work
- Employees' opportunities to develop meaningful work through interaction with various actors
- Consideration of diversity and inclusivity in the management of diverse teams and organisations to ensure social sustainability
- Ethical leadership, equality, solution-focused approaches and resource-oriented practices in communal agency and inclusive interactions

It is available on Moodle at the start of the study unit.

Teaching methods

Teaching is delivered online, including four joint working sessions. It requires active participation in both the teaching sessions and small-group work. In this study unit, it is particularly important to participate in dialogic discussion on leadership.
